Invisalign Clear Aligners Brenham

Achieving the Goal of a Straighter Smile with Clear Aligners

Crooked, gapped, crowded, and misaligned teeth not only affect a person’s physical appearance but also their oral health. Smiles that are not straight can suffer from dental decay, gum disease, and enamel erosion if left untreated, but the good news is at Smile Keepers, we offer a reliable solution – Invisalign clear aligners. Discreet in appearance and effective in shifting teeth with gentle, continuous pressure, these aligners can produce the same kind of results as traditional braces but without the unnecessary metal. How Invisalign Works

Each Invisalign system comes with a series of custom-made trays. Using digital impressions of your smile, each set is crafted so that your teeth will continue to move in the right direction until they reach their final placement. The aligners are made of clear plastic and feel smooth against teeth and soft oral tissues (i.e., cheeks, lips, tongue, etc.). They are to be worn 20-22 hours a day, and each set is to be swapped out after 1-2 weeks of wear. This ensures that your teeth keep moving until treatment is complete, which can be 12-18 months on average.

The Benefits of Invisalign

Although traditional braces remain the most popular method of orthodontic treatment, Invisalign provides many unique benefits that cannot be achieved with metal brackets and wires, such as:

  • Clear aligners that do not appear visible to others
  • Flexible trays that can be removed when eating, drinking, or cleaning your teeth and gums
  • A low-maintenance form of treatment that doesn’t require special products to keep clean
  • Faster results, on average, that can be achieved in 12-18 months as opposed to 2-3 years with metal braces
  • Improved oral health by closing gaps, creating space, and realigning overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites
