Dental Crowns
When a tooth sustains a significant crack or serious decay that cannot be treated with a tooth-colored filling, we recommend a custom dental crown. Also known as a “cap,” it is placed over the affected tooth after it has been treated and prepared (reshaped). The crown is secured in place using a durable cement and is meant to prevent bacteria from reinfecting the tooth.
